Endocrine Problems in Cancer

Endocrine disorders secondary to cancer, as well as the treatment for them, represent an important part of the medical problems experienced by the cancer survivors.

We provide multidisciplinary medical care for children facing these unique challenges. Medical problems addressed in this subspecialty endocrine care program include the effects of childhood cancer therapies on:

- Hypothalamic and pituitary function
- Growth
- Puberty
- Metabolic and bone problems
- Obesity

By prevention, early detection, and management of endocrine disorders, we help improve the quality of life of our patients.
